I am a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and Precision Nutrition certified nutrition coach, and I am passionate about helping you reach your goals. While I’ve always had a passion for health, nutrition, exercise, and sports, I started taking on clients in June 2021. In that short time, I’ve worked with 6-year old athletes, general population clients, post-injury clients and everyone in between.
I have found a passion for training women who are invested in getting themselves stronger. Thanks to my personal fitness story, I’ve found that I am able to motivate and inspire these women to do their best in the gym because it makes them feel their best. My favorite part of this career is watching a woman’s confidence transform thanks to prioritizing her health.
I was born and raised in Williston, Vermont. From a young age I always felt different from the girls around me. I felt embarrassed about the way my arms laid on my sides, I was preoccupied with how much my legs spread out when I sat down, and I felt like there was something wrong with me.
As a young girl I was always active, whether I was playing field hockey, softball, or basketball. I was also busy with theater when my sports schedules allowed (some of my claims to fame were Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Bye Bye Birdie, and Chicago). In high school, after years of consistency and dedication, I made the Varsity Basketball Team, won two state championships, and was also named a captain my senior year.
I thought Varsity Basketball was the peak of my athletic career, then I started at the University of Rhode Island to get Bachelor’s degrees in Kinesiology and Psychology. In the fall of my freshman year, I saw an advertisement to join Women’s Rowing. I had never touched a boat in my life, but I thought it could be a good place to grow a community. Four years later, I graduated college as the captain of a Division I team that had won three conference championships.
Competing at this level was the first time I was able to appreciate my body for what it could do, not just what it looked like. My goal is to give women who struggle with their self-image an appreciation that they are far more than their appearance.
